Until I learned it was aggressively doing this, I was finding myself being driven to my daughter's work often for other destinations I thought I had selected. I would be painstakingly typing in some new destination and Waze would cut me off and map me to my daughter's work. It has evolved from being creepy to frustrating. Waze has started to predict that maybe I want to go to my daughter's work place many times I open Waze, whether I want to or not, and when I try to input a different location, Waze will often override to my daughter's work. It is a long drive so each time I will use Waze because it might have obstacles or reroutes to recommend. I drive my daughter to her work place 3x a week, but different days each week. I'm on the app, as well as logged in on the website on my PC. I want to take the toll highway just to the south to avoid Montreal entirely. The default route takes me through downtown Montreal, which I do not want to do. I can get over that (and at some point, possibly edit the map for my local area), but the bigger issue I have is that it won't let me edit my route at all. First, I live quite rural and it doesn't recognize my home address. So I've downloaded it and have been trying to map my route. Waze was suggested to me, and after a quick google search, it also comes up as the lowest data usage for map apps - fantastic.
